How far ahead should I book before summer?
As early as you can. New installs get harder to schedule from around October onward as demand climbs — the same goes for servicing appointments. Booking now means you get a time that suits you, not whatever's left.
My AC still works — do I really need a service?
"Still works" and "working properly" aren't the same thing. A unit low on refrigerant or with a dirty coil will still turn on and blow air — it just won't cool efficiently, and it's more likely to fail under the extra strain of a heatwave. A service picks that up before it becomes a breakdown.
How long does a new install take?
A single split system is usually a half-day job. Multi-split and ducted systems take longer — we'll confirm the timeframe at your assessment based on your home.
What if my system needs more than a service?
We'll tell you honestly. If a repair makes sense, we'll quote it. If the unit's at the end of its life, we'll explain why and quote a replacement — no pressure either way.
Do you service brands you didn't install?
